Connection & Purpose

We have witnessed the magic of what happens through the power of connection and purpose.  Dandelion House is designed to foster just that, centering arts, culture, and healing.  Dandelion House is a place to practice connection and purpose through care for ourselves, care for each other, and care for the land.

Become a member of our community, attend our events, or host a gathering at Dandelion House.  Join us in building the future we want today.

Dandelion House Code

Dandelion House welcomes every body.

We’re building a space rooted in respect, inclusiveness, and care—for ourselves, each other, and the land. As an arts, culture, and healing space, we hold mental, physical, and emotional well-being at the center of what we do. We invite you to join us in creating an environment where everyone can feel safe and supported.

Show up when you can, communicate when you can’t

When you reserve a spot for an event, workshop, or practice session, we hope to see you there. Our space is limited, and your presence matters. If plans change, please cancel so another community member can participate. We understand life happens—just help us keep the circle open.

Practice presence and courtesy

Check in when you arrive. Introduce yourself. Sign our waiver for movement events. If you’re bringing guests, help them feel welcome. Every gathering brings together a unique mix of people—be open to connection and sharing space.

Engage with what we’re building together

Dandelion House thrives when members are engaged. Our collective vitality depends on your participation, ideas, and energy. Share your gifts, offer your time, and help shape what this space becomes.

Honor our shared resources

Pay what you’re able on the scale we’ve created, and do so on time when possible. This helps us keep costs low and doors open. Read our emails and website updates—they’re how we stay connected as a whole community. When you have feedback, we welcome solutions alongside questions. When you have ideas, we welcome your labor to help realize them. Share your stories and photos to help tell the world what we’re creating here.

Celebrate our roots and yours

Dandelion House draws inspiration from Asian, Black, and Indigenous social movements from Turtle Island and across the globe. We welcome you to share your own traditions and lineages. We’re here to learn, grow, and bond through the struggles, resilience, strength, joy, and healing inherent in all our communities.

A cozy reading nook featuring a large window with wooden framing, a woven ottoman, a tufted leather armchair, and a colorful pillow with a circle pattern. A black bookshelf filled with books and decorative plates is positioned against a cream-colored wall, with framed artwork above it. The room is lit by natural sunlight streaming through the window, highlighting the wooden flooring and creating a warm atmosphere.

Sustainability Practice:

We put caring for the land into practice in the following ways:

  • Limiting our use of disposable items

  • Buying pre-loved and thrifted items when possible

  • Recycling and composting

  • Limiting our use of toxic or harsh chemicals

  • Utilizing organic and permaculture practices on the land

A woman with dark hair tied in a bun, wearing a shirt and purple pants, sits on a blue cushion on the wooden floor of a sunroom, facing large windows. She is playing with a light-colored dog, possibly a retriever, lying on its belly. There are green plants near the windows, and a decorative wooden mirror and a small table are against the wall. Outside the windows, trees and a house are visible.
