Our Pricing Model
Our community reflects the beautiful diversity that is Austin and that includes economic means. At Dandelion House, we value building community over maximizing profits. We utilize a pricing scale that both sustains Dandelion House and makes our offerings accessible to as many community members as possible. We use this scale because we believe that financial resources, including income, are not and should not be the only determining factor in whether or not someone can access our offerings.
We have for options for pricing:
Standard
The cost of membership, attendance or rental that allows Dandelion House to stay in operation and cover expenses
Solidarity
The cost of membership, attendance or rental plus paying it forward to cover the costs of a community member who requires access
Sustainer
The cost of membership, attendance or rental plus supporting the long term flourishing of Dandelion House and the work that happens here
Access
A reduced cost of membership, attendance or rental meant to make offerings accessible to those with great financial constraints.
Unsure of which rate you should pay? We are grateful to Alexis Cunningfolk for the green bottle framework which we drew upon to design a scale that works for Dandelion House. Below are different ways to consider your ability to afford each rate:
